Awesome M.O.M. Giveaway

by jtaylor on December 15, 2010

Do you have mind clutter? You KNOW what I’m talking about right? So much going on in your life that it’s hard to remember it all. You often feel overwhelmed just trying to stay on top of it, constantly feel like you are playing catch up, and pretty much feel like life is running you, rather than you running it. You know who you are. In fact, most of us have it, because most of us don’t have the tools to understanding how to control it.

Enter Mind Organization for Moms (M.O.M for short).

I found M.O.M several months ago. When I received the program I started reading through it and I couldn’t believe how much sense it made. M.O.M. has created a system like a filing cabinet for your brain, and all the natural chaos that you collect in your head. I have to admit, this has been a sanity-saver for me, and I have loved knowing I have a place to organize and control my chaos. Head over to M.O.M. and see what it’s all about. While you are there, sign up for the newsletter and get a free start-up version of the program.

BUT, here’s the really cool part:

M.O.M has given me one FULL program to giveaway to one of the readers here at Creating Better Habits! Lucky, lucky you. You’ll have four chances to enter, simply do the following:

  1. Comment on why you need to get organized, or what’s most difficult about organization for you, for one chance to win.
  2. For a second chance to win, follow me on Facebook and send an invite to at least ten friends. Come back and tell me about it here.
  3. For a third chance to win, follow CBH on twitter, and tweet about this post (you can use the buttons below to tweet). Come back and tell me about it here.
  4. For one additional chance, blog about and link to CBH and come back and link me to it.

As you can see, I’m trying to up my readership, and would love it if you can help me out! But this is really, REALLY, a great program that will leave you in control of your life. I will leave this contest open for one week, and will announce the winner next Thursday. This is an awesome program to start out 2011 on a new foot. One where you stand firmly in control of your life. The system takes a little commitment to get started, but you’ll love the results, and very quickly it becomes second nature. You’ll wonder what you ever did without it.

Ok, I know I’m not a mom, but I KNOW I need this program. I’m so stressed out about not being able to keep up with everything despite how organized I ALREADY AM that I get really freaked out about the thought of adding kids on top of all of this. SO, I need this because it will help me feel more ready to become a mom. haha :)

Of course you are welcome to enter the giveaway! :) It is so helpful…I know you’ll see a positive difference.

I’m moving, the week before Christmas. It’s crazy and my life is in chaos. So yes, it would be nice to start 2011 with a goal to be organize.
The hardest part of being organized is structuring time. What I want to accomplish vs. what I should get done. Not always realistic goals.

  • Joanna

I think I find that the hardest too-managing my time.

  • Julie Doyle

Oh how I really wish that I had all these things (internet, blogging, online couponing, etc etc etc) when I was starting out as a young wife and mother. Even though my children are grown and married and I am a grandma I still find myself forgetting things (and NO it isn’t old timers).
I definitely need this program – it would be great! I shared the “follow” link with most of my contacts. Great site Joanna, love your ideas and I definitely will be checking every day to see what is new on your site. <3

The hardest part for me is just finding the time to organize- lame excuse, but true ;)

  • Stephanie T

I struggle with just staying on top of the pick up and clutter free party of housework, so once I get that done I am to tired to even touch the deep clean and then it just builds up. I have two boys 5 and 3 (plus a new baby) and they are little tornadoes and so it is a constant battle.

Julie, I laughed when I read this. I think in some ways life must be much easier for this generation with all the help out there, but in some ways it must also be more chaotic from all the “noise” as well! :) Thanks for sharing with your friends!

  • Joanna

    Time is my enemy!

  • Joanna

Stephanie, I agree…kids that are active make it that much harder! It seems when one thing is done, they’ve just un-done another (or two or three) thing(s). It *is* a constant battle, but finding systems that tame the battle do help. I’m working on that now. :)

As a homeschooling mom to 6 (with 1 being a newborn) you can imagine I have a lot swimming around in this little head of mine! I mostly think of things to do when I’m up at 3 am with the baby, but by morning I either don’t remember or don’t have the time to get them done.

  • Joanna

I completely respect what you are doing for your family and I can imagine how much you have swimming around in your head! I home-schooled one of mine for a while and I had such a hard time keeping up on it the way I wanted to, I couldn’t even imagine trying to keep track of several learning schedules. Thanks so much for your comment and good luck in the contest! I hope you’ll continue to come back and find useful information as well as continue to offer your input! It’s all of our voices combined that make a difference to the right person!

I feel a little silly saying this, since I only have two kids, but I struggle SO much with not losing things! I swear I’ll put something down and it’ll disappear. I’d like to think it’s because my children move things around more quickly than I can clean up, but like I said, I only have two kids.:-) Mentally, I just can’t seem to clear my head and remember simple things lately.

My husband is the same way. :) And I find I forget certain things too (more like events rather than misplacing things), but it’s a problem. My kids misplace their shoes daily, even though we have a place for them to go. I understand!
